At around 10:00 this morning we ventured over to Orange Beach to check out the surf during "Hurricane" Isaac! We're very lucky that Isaac didn't amount to too much at all in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach. It's relatively calm today over here on the ICW ... a little bit windy, but nothing out of the ordinary, and it's not even raining. We do not like hearing that others weren't so fortunate over in Mississippi and Louisiana with flooding, etc. It sounds like Isaac is moving (although very slowly) up north to areas that really, really need the rain. So, maybe something good will come from this after all. Good-bye Isaac! And, may there be no more hurricanes this year!
