Today was Gulf Shores' 2nd Annual Christmas Parade right down Highway 59 straight to the beach.
Many of the "floats" were boats. We never saw parade entries quite like that in East Central Indiana!
But true to tradition, Santa did arrive in his sleigh atop a fire truck.
And, another thing that remains the same is the excitement seen on the faces of the children, standing ready with their grocery bags to collect loot thrown from the floats --- everything from candy and plastic cups to strands of beads. You would've thought it was Mardi Gras!
