Mardi Gras 2013

Garland Road Girls Gather in Gulf Shores ...

We were so thrilled that two of my "oldest" (as in "long-time") friends came from wintry Ohio with their fellas for a brief visit to our Gulf Shores home during Mardi Gras. Bonnie announced that she had been to Mardi Gras in New Orleans seven times, and while I'm sure there was plenty of partying going on down here, there is absolutely no resemblance to the real thing in NOLA! At any rate, we had a great time together boating, watching dolphins, eating out, eating in, relaxing in the boat house, shopping, snagging beads and other throws at the Mardi Gras parade ... and just being together. "Old" friends are the best!
