Last month's visitors

My cousin, Connie Kauffman Toops, photo journalist and author, was
in the area on a speaking engagement mid-October and was able to come over and spend
the night with us. It was a short visit, but we had a great time catching up with one another.

Here we are at the Gulf State Park Pier.

Our beautiful background is the sugar white sand of our Gulf beaches.

Connie and her husband, Pat, live in North Carolina, but we hope they 

will both be back to visit us in the not too distant future!

Our good friends, Chet and Ann Wasson, came from Michigan via
St. Augustine and Destin for a visit that was much too short.
We hope to get to see them again in Cadillac, MI, this summer!

We had so much fun riding on the pontoon, watching an incredible dolphin show
in the bay, drinking wine in the boat house, laughing and listening to Jim and Chet
tell stories about growing up in Union City!
